The Affinity Stratocaster: Flexible Sound
The ultra-versatile sound of the original Fender Stratocaster is fully emulated by a set of three single-coil pickups, each finished with a fresh voicing and fitted with a powerful ceramic magnet. Couple that up with the five-way position selector switch, master volume, and pair of tone controls, and you have all the tools needed to wield the wide-ranging, elastic sonic power of an icon. Whether you want to learn the subtle arts of pop, funk, blues, rock, indie, or grunge, the Affinity Strat is more than willing, and definitely able.
The Details
This Squier-made Strat boasts a compulsive level of playability thanks to the smooth and snug feel of the satin-gloss coated C-profile neck, while the modern two-point synchronised tremolo bridge, complete with whammy bar, gives this guitar its tight, low action, and grants full access to subtle or extreme vibrato effects. Six individually adjustable block-saddles have been installed on the bridge for accurate intonation, while the tuning stability is fully assured by the set of newly-improved split-shaft machine heads that finish the classically-shaped headstock.

Deze gitaar nu 2 weken in bezit en zeer tevreden mee doet wij hij moet doen
Wat een goede gitaar voor het geld! Ik ben 24 jaar geleden begonnen op een Squier Stratocaster. Die heeft een auto ongeluk niet overleefd. Vervolgens weer een Squier Stratocaster, maar dan een luxe met Fender hardware en electronica. Die was vergelijkbaar met deze, maar dan goedkoper. Oftewel, ze zijn echt veel beter geworden door de decennia heen.
Ik heb gitaarspelen als hobby weer opgepakt na vele jaren niet of amper spelen. Was in het bezit van Fender USA Stratocasters, Jaguars en anderen, maar voor de prijsverschillen tegenwoordig hoef ik niet per se meer een Fender. Leuk voor de heb en zeker beter, maar niet zo zeer nodig.
De gitaar zelf is goed afgewerkt. Geen scherpe randen/frets/etc.. En super stemvast! Misschien nieuwe pickups in de toekomst, maar voor nu helemaal blij!
Verassend goed voor een gitaar van amper 250 euro. Veel beter dan de squier sonic serie, en zeker de extra 50 waard!
Een ingewikkelde kwestie deze gitaar, heb er inmiddels 4 in huis gehad, twee met het volgende probleem: De pocket van de body is te ondiep/of de socket is te dik, waardoor het fretboard te hoog komt (ongeveer 1,5 mm). Hierdoor moet de brug raar hoog worden gedraaid en ook nog eens de zadels raar hoog. Is speelbaar maar tremolo werkt niet goed meer en het is geen gezicht. Deze had geen probleem en dan is het 5 sterren.
Een hele fijne lichte gitaar voor een beginner uitstekend. Ben er blij mee.
